Last night, I stopped and looked up.
I had gotten out of my car and was ready to walk straight through the front door of my home again like I always do, but some strange force compelled me not to do that this time. I decided that I wanted to see the sky. Granted, it wasn’t the best view of the sky (light pollution is an unfortunate reality living in suburbia). But I persisted.
